Dog Training With Bob

I contacted Bob just yesterday because my dog's pulling had become a major issue. He returned my call almost immediately and provided a comprehensive consultation and we scheduled a training session for the very next day. Bob arrived promptly, was courteous, and has an obvious connection with, and compassion for, dogs. He evaluated me and my dog and provided clear, concise information; within minutes my dog's leash pulling had subsided almost entirely. He made specific recommendations regarding equipment as well as practicable homework for me. As he said from the outset: 75% is on me, 25% is on my dog. He has provided me with the information, tools, and resources I need to feel confident in walking my dog (and honestly, in handling any other issues that may need to be addressed). While the new collar and leash have yet to arrive, just using the techniques Bob suggested on our afternoon walk have already substantially decreased my dog's pulling! Bob also provided general behavioral tips as needed. His prices are extremely fair -- and worth every penny! In home visits are an incredible boon, and his openness to (free) calls and texts between sessions is an amazing benefit. I couldn't be happier that I got to meet and work with Bob and if you are in need of pet training I could not offer a higher recommendation.

We have shared our home with yellow labs for more than twenty years, our only regret is not meeting Bob twenty years ago. His knowledge is exceptional, his teaching skills are unmatched and he is a wonderful person to learn the detailed techniques that make control pleasant for both dog and owner. He does not push products, but demonstrates the advantages of using the correct equipment and configuration - we actually harnessed the boys and took them for a brief walk - the difference was simply amazing. Having walked our two boys who each weigh near 100 pounds twice a day at the beach in North Carolina in all environments, I can testify that his techniques and equipment configuration make life so much easier for both our boys and I. If I could give him ten stars, I would do that in a heart beat. Our boys were waging their tails when he walked out the door and would have jumped in his car and gone with him, but it just might have been that tiny bag of treats he used to reinforce their good behavior - I was shocked how quickly they learned from him.
