Calvin is absolutely amazing! He spent so much time explaining all the details and process on how Teddy would be trained and how I would be trained! I gave him Teddy for two week board and train and when I got him back I saw a lot of progress! Of course he was very clear about me furthering his training with 1:1 sessions and following up with what he is learning at home everyday. Calvin has immense knowledge on animals and how to train them. He’s attentive to the owners needs and is always very patient! What I loved most was his honesty, he was extremely clear about what to expect and what is realistic! We highly recommend him for training your beloved dogs! I can’t wait to see the future progress with Teddy! Excited to have a fully trained puppy thanks to Calvin and his team!

We enrolled our Belgian Malinois mix, Whiskey, in DogTags’ 2-week board and train program. He was having difficulty meeting new people, was reactive in unfamiliar situations, and wasn’t consistently responding to commands. We knew he was an incredibly smart dog, but we were struggling to communicate with him and help him feel comfortable. The transformation has been amazing. Not only did the team teach Whiskey obedience, but they helped him become a more confident dog who feels safe and secure in new environments. He’s now much more responsive to me, listens to commands consistently, and I can comfortably take him out in public. I can also have friends and family over without worrying about how he’ll react, which has been life changing. It has been awesome showing off how well behaved he is. The trainers gave Whiskey and our family the tools and knowledge we needed to continue his training and build on everything he learned. Thanks to them, he’s living a happier life and gets to be part of so many experiences with our family that simply weren’t possible before. I can’t thank the DogTags team enough. If you’re looking for a training program that truly cares about both the dog and the owner, I highly recommend them.
