Dog Tags Training Academy LLC

Oakley (lab/pit) trained for five weeks with Dog Tags Training Academy. Before this training, Oakley was very difficult to control, destructive and very willful. They did a great job with him and now Oakley is a new dog. Walking went from a workout to very pleasant. We are able to keep him inside out of his kennel without worrying about destructive behavior (under supervision). They communicated well with me throughout and trained me as well on how to keep up the learned behaviors with hands on lessons. Highly recommend.

Calvin and the team, including Lydia and Demetrius, were exceptional in training our Cane Corso puppy. The comprehensive experience and knowledge transfer with our trainers were of the highest caliber. Not only did they train our dog, but they also educated us about the reasons behind his behaviors, both positive and negative. Long review but necessary! My dog -Winter was already smart, but she’s been reactive since she was a puppy and I didn’t have the proper training or understanding of how to give her commands. Calvin communicated with me the whole time she was boarding and sent videos of her progress, which I really appreciated knowing my girl was learning and getting better while I was gone meant a lot. She came home after 2 weeks and Calvin spent a few hours with me going over everything they taught her, how to maintain control, the do’s and don’ts, all of it. He didn’t just train my dog, he trained me too. I’m so impressed with how much two weeks changed. She’s calmer, she listens, and she waits on my command instead of just doing sit on her own. We did a few walks already and we both actually enjoyed it because she was listening the whole time. I feel so confident with her now!! Two weeks isn’t enough time to fully build a habit, especially with reactivity, so we’re continuing to work with Calvin now that Winter’s back on her home grounds. What I love is that their support doesn’t end when the training does, it’s ongoing. He even offered to come out and walk my regular route with us and I can continue to ask questions and support as I go. The training doesn’t just stop when you take your dog home. That kind of follow-through is what sold me. Dog Tags Training Academy is Veteran owned and Black owned, and I’m both, so that mattered to me. He’s willing to work with you and whatever your dog’s issues are. Highly recommend. 🐾
