Dog's Play

There's not many things that I would drive 20 miles for, but working with Julie is one of those things. She has curated an incredible team of dog trainers, staff members, and property out at Dog's Play. She truly cares about every animal that appears in front of her, making sure that they get the training, guidance, and chance they need to have a successful life as a pet, therapy, working, or service dog. Her ability to communicate, engage, and build real results without use of harsh methods, negative language, is frankly beyond impressive. I couldn't be more grateful for both their 6-week puppy classes, beginning with STAR puppy to preparation for urban canine good citizen all on the path to training my service dog. They also understand and help with the difficulties of raising a puppy, and ensuring a well-rounded dog not only through their classes, but through day camps and boarding. That was one of my biggest concerns was how to politely tell my friends and family exactly how I wanted them to work with my dog when I had to be away, but with Julie and crew, I don't have to worry about that. We share similar standards, expectations, and excitement when it comes to my dog and seeing him succeed. If you want a well-rounded dog, somewhere that they can play safely, receive training, and ultimately help you learn tools to fulfill your doggo, you won't go wrong working with them. Their pricing is more than fair, they go above and beyond daily, and I couldn't be more grateful to be partnered with them on this training journey.

On this Thanksgiving Day.. seems like the best time to celebrate Dog’s Play. Brolly and I are blessed to be apart of the pack with Dog’s Play. In under a year my reactive (fear/anxiety) rescue have thrived in our individual and group training classes. Our partnership has grown through the immense support and collaboration of owner/trainer Julie Hughes along with Keith and the patient training pups like Daisy, Tony, and others who are doing their part to settle the fear of dogs like mine. Brolly and I have benefited greatly in the various classes offered like obedience, rally, trick, and agility. We have received 4 certifications with Dog’s Play. With the 3 P’s: patience, persistence, and perseverance our partnership with Julie, Keith, and the amazing teams of dog and owner(s), you too can thrive like us!!
