Dog's Best Friend

Dog's Best Friend training is worth every penny! We came to Chas utterly frustrated and feeling as if we had made a major mistake. We wanted to save a life and we rescued a 6 month old severely neglected pitbull that was anxious, aggressive and a major handful. We were all miserable! Chas catered the class to address behavior and obedience. We took the 12 course session and by the second lesson we were seeing major progress. It is work for both pup and humans, but you are set up to succeed if you devote the time and effort. Having finished our last lesson we now have a smart, well behaved and loving goofball that has totally wormed her way into our hearts! Chas also made us better dog owners by giving us the knowledge to continue to make her a better happier dog. We now have little fun companion we wanted. Laird, Jennifer and Belle say "Thanks Chas!"

We are on week 4 of our training with Chas and could not be happier. We just rescued a bonded pair of dogs and needed to address dog aggression, particularly in one of the dogs. We went to Chas as we heard that he is great with aggressive rescues, he specialized in them. That dog has decreased dog aggression tremendously in this short period of time and the other is also improved in their behavior. This morning, only after four lessons, they both greeted our neighbor's dog calmly and with NO aggression, sitting patiently while we talked to the neighbors, only a couple of feet away. This is the same dog they growled at several weeks ago. Peace to our neighborhood, yeah! We are looking forward to reaching off leash status with these wonderful dogs as our training keeps building their skills. Last two class they were exposed to Chas's dog and improved with each exposure. It is good to see the progress. We are still working on the leash pulling when the birds are out...that's a tough one, but we will keep working on it. The homework is hard to fit in, but we do our best and are committed to their training. Thanks Chas for your leadership and skills!

We were a mom and daughter with a pair of pups to train and Chas came highly recommended. Chas is AMAZING. Dogs are all he does, his passion is infectious. What we’ve experienced in the last 8 lessons is nothing short of extraordinary. Chas is an incredibly gifted professional with dogs and more importantly with us. We knew nothing and he trained us to help our pups become integrated members of our family. They went from nutty adolescents to obedient adults which are a joy to love. We learned obedience, agility, aggression/barking elimination, and so much more, including housebreaking. Chas has even taught me how to go running with two small dogs at the same time. They’re doing great. It’s so much fun to see them respond immediately to his training and we can apply it right away at home. All of our goals are met. I’m so happy we are going through this process together as mom and daughter. She is learning important values of patience, persistence, and leadership. The value of our time with Chas goes well beyond just the dogs.... the precious memories of this experience will last a lifetime.
