Also, and even more importantly, trained the humans to communicate their message in a language the dog understands. Should I be the Alpha dog by using brute force?
Absolutely not! The most powerful pack leaders are the ones that say and do the least. The way to gain control over your dog is to use calm relaxed quiet energy. Less is more. Besides, people who think they should “alpha role” their dog usually wind up getting bitten or scratched, or worse hurt their dog physically. There are much better ways to be your dog’s “Alpha” leader. Respect is what is lacking here. You can gain your dog’s respect by using calm, relaxed energy instead of brute force.
Why is my dog showing aggression toward people or other dogs?
Most times it's because they were not socilized when they were young. Also, they were never shown how they are supposed to act by the humans in their life. your dog may be nervous, axious, fearfull, uncertain, insecure. All these will trigger aggresion. For example, barking, growling, lunging at guests when they come in the house. Your dog isn't sure what they're supposed to do when the doorbell rings and you open the door. That uncertainty could be the cause. The dog doesn't know what to do so they go back to a primal state which is to bark growl etc. I teach people how to communicate with their dog so they know how to greet with a calm state of mind. My two dogs Cheef and Luna had completely taken over our home and started to terrorize each other to become the top dog.Paul helped us gain back confidence in our dogs and quickly helped teach us corrective ways to help both luna and cheef. It was now been 48 ours since Paul has left our home. Luna is a new well behaved dog who no longer is pulling on her walks, and is welcoming to guest in the home. Cheeef is still a work in progress, but he is sleeping in his crate and becoming less anxious every day. Pauls pricing was beyond fair and I would have him back every week if I could. Thank you for helping us gain control back Paul, we cant thank you enough.

My husband and I took our 13 week old rottie puppy Rocky to one of Paul's classes and we can say that he was very knowledgeable and professional and answered all of our questions and beleive it or not in 24 hours we have seen a change in our puppy with what he taught us.Thank you Paul you are amazing.We will keep you updated on his progress.

I wanted to start working with our puppy at a young age and Paul has definitely made a major impact on him and our training. He was at our house only two days ago and we have already noticed a major change on the leash. He teaches you skills that you can apply everyday easily. We can’t wait to continue to see the progress.

Paul is amazing! He came in and off the bat, our whippet puppy, Fenway respected him! He taught us simple communication and commands that is most important for us to be the best "pack leaders". He was patient, went step by step explaining everything in detail and was hands on allowing us to do what he was teaching with corrections. Our walks are enjoyable, and we are not being pulled all over the place. Fenway has been more calm, and trusting in us as we continue to implement our trainings. Paul is the best! We had him out to the house to help our 2 year old lab mix Bailey that was having some behavioral issues. Within a half hour Paul had her calmed down and trained her (and mostly us) who the pack leader is. I was amazing to see our dog walking on a leash so well around another dog as well. It’s not something that’s going to happen overnight, but with the resources he gave us we feel confident we will have continued success.
