Dog Pause

Dan is an excellent trainer and we would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn about dog behavior and how to sensibly train your dog. Our Belgian Malinois mix (Teeghan) is sensitive and intelligent. Dan has helped us tremendously with positive reinforcement rather than corporal punishment and keeps us stay motivated to continue training even when we feel like we are failing. His can do attitude is admirable!

I have to say I was a bit skeptical at the clicker training process. Mainly because I didn’t know much about it. We adopted our 2 yr old Husky from the humane society and while he was a surrender he had some behavior things that definitely needed work! We hired Dan and were so happy we did! We are 5 months into training and we have a different dog on our hands!! Dan’s enthusiasm is contagious. The training is worth the investment if you’re willing to commit and do the work between sessions! Would highly recommend this positive enforcement dog training.

Through a series of Zoom sessions, Dan helped us tremendously with an extremely anxious and challenging new rescue dog. If you think you know a lot about dogs, think again. I am a horse trainer and although I have decades of experience with a variety of animals, Dan provided a great deal of fresh insight and new tools for us to implement. It was very important to us that he utilizes positive reinforcement techniques. After a lot of guidance and work, we now have a calm, happy, and confident member of our pack.

We had adopted a Husky Shepard and we needed some serious guidance . Dan's approach is better than other dog trainers we spoke to. His fundamental training was so informative and educational for us. His methods are solidly built around you and your dog having a successful connection, not just being an owner of a dog - it goes deeper than that, and I think that's what made it so worth it. Highly recommend Dan for any dog that needs training!
