Dog Lovers Obedience School

Dog Lovers Obedience School has been a lifesaver. When I adopted Junie, she pulled HEAVILY on the leash and had little to no manners/boundaries. These obstacles felt insurmountable. With Emily and the team, Junie has become a wonderful companion. We have worked on walking on a leash, e-collar training, and general boundaries. I can now take her places and give her the freedom she deserves as a dog. Junie benefitted greatly from their half day option where she was able to build confidence and have consistent reinforcement. I was provided with clear homework and goals to continue the carryover. Emily is fantastic and has the knowledge and skills for a wide variety of dogs. I can’t say enough good things about DLOS.

We had a great Beginner Class experience with Emily of DLOS. Our Maltipoo, Cookie, learned all of the doggie basics while becoming more confident and less reactive with each class. The dogs and owners are actively engaged in activities throughout the entire hour of class and not just sitting and listening to the instructor, which we experienced at another local dog training school. Emily spends extra time answering questions and solving individual needs. She is excellent in every way and we are looking forward to starting the Intermediate Class with her soon !

Dog Lovers has been an incredibly positive and supportive training “home” for us! Our dog, Ellie has challenged us in a way we have not experienced with our previous dogs in that she is leash reactive. The trainers listen to challenges and make suggestions accordingly, while showing patience for us and Ellie! We attend obedience classes for refreshers.The classes are well controlled and are a perfect safe place for Ellie to be in close range, on a leash around other dogs and know she is ok. Ellie attends half day trainings that include field trips. She arrives to half days with her tail wagging, excited for new experiences that help her gain more confidence. We are grateful for the training we have received from Emily and her staff and appreciate the variety of options for continued training!
