Updated review! Justine is definitely rhe answer if youre having a hard time training. My boy jas now passed his canine good citizens and urban canine good citizen test! We're on our way to public access training for service ❤️ Justine is awesome! I wish I wouldve went to her sooner. I tried another trainer who ended up not being helpful and i felt so lost in what to do. Justine helped me get my pup through his stubbornness and continues to be an amazing resource for me and my pup.

I highly recommend Justine, as I had a great experience with her as a dog trainer for my 2 year old high-energy lab. From the beginning her communication was direct, clear, and easy to follow, with practical instructions that work. I always felt comfortable asking questions and she always made sure I knew I can always reach out in between our training sessions. When it came to working with my lab, Aka she helped us refine some of his skills, get him calm in public, walking off leash, and non-reactive around people and other dogs, which was huge progress. Life is a little more calmer after training!

Review: From "Wild Child" to Model Citizen—A 3-Week Transformation! We brought our 11 month old 55lb Golden Retriever to the Dog Lady of Forest Grove feeling pretty overwhelmed. While Goldens are famously friendly, ours was a literal anchor on the leash—constantly pulling, lunging at every person or dog we passed, and lacking any real impulse control. The change we’ve seen in just three weeks is nothing short of a miracle: • Leash Manners: He no longer pulls our arms out of their sockets! He walks calmly by our side, even when things get busy. • No More Lunging: The reactive lunging at people and other dogs has stopped. He is now focused and attentive to us. • Crate Training: He is fully crate trained and actually enjoys his own space, which has brought much peace to our home. • The "Farm Store" Test: The ultimate proof of his progress was a recent trip to the local farm store. Despite all the smells and distractions, he stayed focused and well behaved. A word of advice for future clients: The Dog Lady is a miracle worker, but you have to be ready to do your part. To see these kinds of results, you must follow her instructions to the letter and practice the skills daily. Justine is fantastic! I took my 6 month old English Mastiff to Justine for basic obedience training after online puppy courses and books were not producing results. My puppy's attitude changed after our very fist session. The bond and trust between my dog and I has strengthened under Justine's calm and direct guidance. She is a wealth of knowledge and is readily available outside of formal sessions to answer any questions you might have. She will give you the skills to be a strong and confident to leader for your dog. You will see results using her methods. I highly recommend Justine.
