Dog Days Training Center

My 1 1/2 year old Labradoodle pup, Pip, has been going to Dog Days for board & train and puppy classes since she was about four months old. Laurie, Sally, and Adam are fabulous trainers (focused very much on trainer us as much as the dogs!) who really care about the dogs. Pip absolutely loves her board & train time and always comes home looking like she has had "BIG" fun, as Laurie says! Dog Days is the first place I call when I know I am going out of town as I know Pip will be well cared for while working on her manners ;-) and having a good romp with other dogs. Pip and I have learned a ton from Laurie and team, and I'm grateful for their guidance and support. They really understand my dog, and I know I can always reach out to them with questions. I have a feeling Pip and I will have a long term relationship with Laurie, Sally, and Adam!

We were lucky enough to be introduced to Laurie 15 years ago. She trained our first puppy, and we are now back with her for our second! I would never, ever consider sending our pets anywhere else. Laurie and her crew have a deep understanding of dogs and their behavior- it is truly magical what they accomplish. You get full-spectrum service at Dog Days...the whole family is involved in the training and education process. Laurie has an impressive background with canines that extends far beyond board and train. She cares deeply about all of the dogs who stay with her, and her dedication to keeping both animals and people safe and healthy through her process truly sets her apart. I tell everyone I know with a dog (young or old!) about Dog Days!

I cannot say enough good things about Laurie and her team. They are so knowledgeable, caring and honest. Some of the best new friends we have met in a long time!!! We are beyond grateful for the impact they have had on our lives with our new dog! (He's 11 mos old and we have been going to them since he was 8 weeks old!) They get to know you and your dog and help you understand everything and anything about dog behavior, training and your particular situation. Laurie's expertise and experience in dog behavior is unparalleled. Adam and Sally are also amazing trainers and wonderful people. I love going there and so does my dog! We both look forward to it and we learn so much ---we leave Dog Days improved (both me and my dog) and happy. My relationship with my dog would not be what it is without them having guided us throughout his puppyhood so patiently and expertly. They always answer all of my questions (which are many--I am not a natural with dogs!) and help me see what we are missing when things aren’t going smoothly! Anytime we have a glitch In training we head to Dog Days for a tune-up. The bonus of the way they work is that they have this BEAUTIFUL property and when we go away our dog hangs with them (so happily because he loves them and he loves it there!) and then comes home new and improved!! Board and train is fabulous for all of us! Also, I really appreciate their directness and honestly. Raising a well-trained dog is hard work and they help you understand what is most important and how to do it right. Most of all, it is clear that Laurie, Adam and Sally (and all of their staff) truly have the dog's best interest in mind and have a deep love for dogs. Having expert and professional partners in this work is a dream.
