Divine K-9

Devine K-9 surprised me in all the best ways. When we booked with Devine K-9/Melara, he walked in the door and immediately started loving on my dog and establishing a connection we didn't find in other trainings. Melara trains you to understand your dog, build a connection, hold high yet attainable expectations, and to set up for success. I've seen unbelievable growth in my dogs behavior. I thought I had a hard dog, turns out I needed to be taught to understand my dog. You will be saving time and money starting with Melara rather than hopping from group class to group class. I am absolutely buying more sessions.

Divine K9 and Jorge gave us the best start to life together. When I adopted my pup 2 years ago I thought I knew what I was doing and could train my dog with ease and little to no frustration. After some trial and error and much frustration at the height of the pandemic, I met Jorge. With his expertise, patience and resource reccomendations Goose and I can compete in FastCAT, have 3 (working on 4) trick dog titles and have started nose work. Not to mention all of the adventures and trips we have been able to go on and all the complements we get from strangers on how well behaved he is and how much fun we have! I have nothing but gratitude and thanks. I will always reccomend Jorge and Divine K9 to anyone in the Madison area. Even if you only take 1 class or do a couple private lessons like we did, you will be amazed at what you can do!

Jorge was fantastic! I was referred to him by a friend to help my dog, Moxie. Moxie wasn't sure of other dogs and not knowing her background (she is a rescue) I felt it was best to have a professional assess her behaviors and teach me how to properly introduce her to other dogs. Jorge helped me understand the importance of introductions and shared many other skills to encourage positive behavior. I highly recommend him!
