My fiancé and I have always had dogs in our life, but have never had one that was specifically ours. Training had always been delegated elsewhere. It was important to us to start quickly, so as not to start any bad habits we would have to unlearn. Ricky had a consultation with us and our sessions started almost immediately, which was appreciated. Ricky operates with a "teach a man to fish" philosophy. I think that is a great way to work. When you understand the overall ideas, you feel like you can train your dog to learn anything. As first time pet owners, Ricky was very patient and attentive to all our questions, and was as excited to work with our dog as we were. He always made himself available for questions, and had answers to everything we asked, the experience really shows. Thanks to our sessions, we feel confident and equipped to get our dog where he needs to be (a good boy). I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially first time owners trying to figure it all out.

We started using Ricky about 6 weeks ago with our almost 7 month old golden retriever. We were seeking guidance on training because we knew that as the dog owners, we didn't have the right tools to give our dog what she needs. We all connected with Ricky immediately. He's not only fascinating as a trainer but his ability to know exactly what our dog needs, and wants,( it is like he's in her head)is just remarkable. Within just a few lessons, our dog has already learned so much, and so have we. I would recommend Ricky to everyone I know. He's reliable, knowledgeable, flexible and just the best! Thank you Ricky!

Great experience training with Ricky. I have 2 fur babies, a puppy and and a 11/2 year. They are great dogs, but needed a lot of obedience training. I was not thrilled about zoom training, but it absolutely works. My puppy doesn't run out of the yard anymore, and my older one is much calmer. Phoebe has learned many tricks including PAW, and Archie is so proud that he can wave to the neighbors. We love how Ricky is so intuitive as to what the dogs are thinking and tells us just how to get the dogs to bond with us and listen to commands. We can't wait to meet him in person....highly recommend.
