Cody is amazing at what he does! He understands dog behavior and is able to read dogs incredibly well. He does a great job of communicating with you and making you feel comfortable with the training process. I was unsure of how to handle my rescue when he would jump, bite or bark to get what he wanted. Cody quickly helped me get rid of those behavior and show my dog what polite and expected behavior is. I know that finances are tight for everyone but I would 100% recommend spending your money on Cody if you have any issues with your dog, don't even think twice it is worth every penny. He will create a stable, structured and happy relationship for you and your dog for years and years to come!

Cody was wonderful to work with. He was great with both of our dogs, and even though training is more stressful for the people than it is for the dogs, Cody was realistic and honest about what work needed to be done on our part to help our animals. They didn't always like doing what was asked of them at first, but the changes in behaviors over the few weeks we worked with him has made our dogs happier and our home peaceful

If you’re looking for a true trainer for your dog and yourself Cody and Diverse Dog Training is where you need to go. I have a 9 month old border collie, Apollo, who has enough energy to run a house all day every day. Cody has taught Apollo the basics of sit, down, and place to the hardest of things like recalls, down or sit from a distance, and heel. Not only has Apollo learned so much but so have I on using commands, staying calm, leash work, being consistent, and always don’t give up. Cody is amazing with dogs and with people. He makes the classes fun and creative yet challenging for you and your dog. The one thing that sticks with me from the very first session I took Apollo to was he made the statement, “You can run a dog for 8 hours and it will sleep for 10 minutes. You mentally stimulate a dog for 10 minutes and it will sleep for 8 hours.” Cody always has the best interest for my dog and myself in mind before we start any class. He is prepared and has a plan of what we want to achieve and work on until the next class. I can’t thank him enough for all the wonderful things he has done for my dog and for myself. I would recommend Cody and Diverse Dog Training to anyone who is looking for a trainer. He is simply the best!
