Diamond Dog Academy

Randy has been a lifesaver. We reached a desperate point with our dog and Randy understood that we needed help. He was excellent with our dog and helped us realize that we (the humans) needed training as much as, if not more than, the dog did! Randy took the time to explain the what and why behind leash corrections, commands and consistency. As we progressed through the training program, it became evident that our dog required proper direction and correction, and Randy guided us on how to achieve that. Which ultimately built up our confidence in being in control on walks and in our home. Before working with Randy, we couldn't take our dog to places with other dogs, but now we confidently bring him to our local brewery without any issues! We look forward to further trainings with Diamond Dog Academy!

I wish I would’ve found Diamond Dog Academy sooner! Prior to completing on leash training with Randall, my puppy received training from another company for several months. That training served as a good baseline but my dog still wasn’t where I wanted her to be. She controlled me on walks and controlled the household. Within one month of working with Randy, my dog made way more progress than any previous training attempts. My abilities improved immensely too and now my dog and I make a great team, but ultimately I am in control. I can finally walk my dog confidently and truly enjoy it, all thanks to Randy! Not only has her leash walking come a long way, but her general obedience, anxiety, and “problem” behaviors continue to improve daily as I am able to carryover the techniques that Randy taught us. He made sessions fun and practical as we trained in the home, our neighborhood, and various locations around town to practice our skills in different environments. It was worth every minute and highly recommend Randy! I am excited to begin working with Diamond Dog Academy again soon to complete the off leash program!

We had a great experience working with Randy/Diamond Dog Academy. Our dogs were very reactive and hard to handle, he worked with them for the first few sessions to get them solid on their obedience and get their reactivity under control, then worked with us for the remainder of the training so we could practice implementing the training and iron out any wrinkles which gave us the confidence to continue implementing the training moving forward. They continue to improve every day and we have had less and less issues with their reactivity and are confident in our ability to correct them properly in these circumstances thanks to the training. It was a-lot of work for us but Randy provided continued support throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend him if you are having any behavioral issue with your dog or looking to touch up on your dogs training.
