Dewayne The Dog Guy

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Dewayne when we began training our dog, Lottie. From the start, I appreciated that he offered a complete training package—both on and off leash—with no limit on sessions until she was fully trained. Dewayne started working with Lottie while she was still a puppy, and while he challenged her, he never pushed too hard. He came to our home for training, which made a huge difference—especially with involving our kids. Now, all of them know how to confidently handle her with commands like sit, heel, place, come, down, leave it, drop, and stay. Lottie walks perfectly on and off leash, and even runs alongside me—then sits automatically when I stop. We constantly get compliments from neighbors and strangers about how well-behaved she is when we’re out and about. It’s such a great feeling knowing how solid her training is. Beyond that, Dewayne has become our go-to when we travel. Lottie is always excited to stay with him, and we know she’s in the best hands. We are beyond grateful to have found Dewayne—his work has truly transformed our experience as dog owners!

He says he spends a week getting to know the dog and 2 weeks training. He didn't know my dog at all. I think she set in a small kennel while he trained other dogs for that 1st week. My dog came back terrified when she came home and peed all over herself when she saw him. She never did and still does not follow even the smallest command. For the price he charges, I'm so disappointed and would never recommend him.
