Denver Dog Whisperer

I wanted to schedule a phone consultation and provided Donni with a time frame that worked for me. She gave me a time she was going to call, but unfortunately I was unable to answer at that time. I then received multiple texts saying how I should rehome my dog and how the new owners should call her which was extremely disrespectful and uncalled for. I understand I should’ve been better at communicating a more specific time, but do not deserve the harsh words that were said to me, all because I did not answer a phone call. She also texted me saying I shouldn’t consider my dog a service dog when I never said anything about wanting my dog to be a service dog. I just wanted to work on his barking. Extremely out of line & do not recommend.

Has rage and control issues. We actually saw Donnie for an almost 3 hour session. Everything went pretty well and we made plans to meet and teach our dog how to swim. Within the course of 15 minutes through text messaging, the relationship went down the drain. I ended up having to block her and her supposed assistant "Lars" from my phone. Unfortunately apparently when you block someone, the messages go away. Don't fear though because I was able to pull up the messages that they sent me after I blocked them. She may indeed have good skills with dogs, but she and her possible assistant have really scary issues with control and rage. Donnie- since you respond to all of these, I was a client so don't try to deny it and do not threaten me- you need help and probably therapy.

(Shoppers, please read full review) DO NOT WALK, RUNNNNN FROM DDW A friend used the services of the DDW and doesn't know how to use Google reviews... So here goes after allowing some considerable time to elapse, What you get with DDW is verbal and text harassment, threats to rehome your animal, threats to call animal control, and demands for 100 hours of services. You will not feel safe, and won't feel your dogs are safe if they aren't with you when the barrage of messages start. A Psychiatrist would be best suited to start to dissect the behavior of DDW, but the rest of it can call it what it is; batsh!+ crazy and SCARY. If you are considering the services, I recommend three things: Start by text messaging and ignore the replies for...a couple hours. Second, look at the 5 star reviews here; NONE ARE FROM LEGITIMATE NON-PRIVATE accounts. This might change now that I point it out, so look at all the reviews the 5 star reviewers leave to check if they're actually "local". Finally be ready and have the following on hand: 1-phone number to Boulder County DA and Sheriff office. Take screen shots, log in to your cell phone provider account and print off the detailed text/call activity proving it was DDW communicating with you. 2-your local County Courts application for a Restraining Order And DDW don't bother replying with your sloppy "fake, no client, competitor hijinks" reply; I imagine the Denver world of dog whisperers is highly competitive (insert eye roll), but I work in an actual professional industry.

Donni was unprofessional, aggressively rude and limited with people skills. She insulted my family and did nothing for dogs. She became unconscionable dealing with her guarenteed refund. She was agressive and threating actions that were ridiculous such as call the police, animals control and our appartment management. In addition, she could not spell or use grammer in her text messages, which added to our concern about her as a professional. My advice, do not use Donni. PS 5 months later and she continues the attacks on us and the lies. The puppy is doing great now with all the love an encouragement of my son. Still not sure why she told us not to encourage good behavior. Animal Control was never called. 100% lie
