We have a five-year-old Australian Shepard who is extremely reactive. In the last five years, we’ve tried several different training programs and also used medication, increasing doses over the years instead of discovering the root of the problems. None of it was working. We started working with Delta K-9 about three weeks ago, and our dog has made more progress in those three weeks than in the last five years. You could argue that he made more progress in just a half hour of one-on-one work than the last five years. Alexis, Mike and the entire team have been AMAZING! Other past trainers wouldn’t even come near my dog, but Alexis was holding his leash after 15 minutes during the first session! It was like watching Steve Irwin interact with alligators. They individualize a plan to meet your dog’s needs, the entire team dives all-in on implementing training, and it really works! You don’t just get a trainer, you get a full support system. Not only do they work on calming down your dog, but calming down the owner(s) as well. We are over the moon with the progress our dog has made so far and finally feel like we’re getting the help and support we need. From years of anxiety, to finally some relief. Our only regret is not finding them sooner!

I reached out to Delta k9 in March after my Rottweiler was attacked by another dog and was showing signs of reactivity. Very shortly after sending an inquiry through the website, Mike reached out to me and set up a meet and greet with Alexis. Between the weekly sessions, patience, and doing my ‘homework’ with him, the progress was amazing and I have a completely different dog than I did 7 months ago. I started with a Rottweiler almost the size of me that I could not walk around other people or dogs and after my time with Alexis and the team at Delta K9, I now have the confidence and tools to do the things I once could not. It took work and patience but I am so happy I had Delta K9 to help me and my dog through these issues and to help me give him a better life.
