Dan Perata Training

Dan Perata is an amazing trainer and an awesone staff and facility. He worked Miracles with my rescued stray dog who had some serious issues. He also taught me a lot about dogs in the process. I highly recommend the investment in training with Dan, you will have a wonderfully behaved dog, learn a lot and enjoy your years with your behaved dog and knew skills. I wanted to update my old review. I added a puppy to my family in 2026 and had such great success with my last pup, I enrolled Rosie in Puppy Camp. My five month old Puppy Rosie has done excellent at training camp and helped me strengthen my skills using positive reinforcement technics taught by the team. She already has already mastered all the basic commands and walks perfectly on my side on our walks. I'm super glad I invested in my well behaved Puppy and have life time support. Thanks!

We did Dan Camp with my 5 year old Pomeranian starting Memorial Day 2025. Since then, we've had incredible strides with his separation anxiety, crate training, reactive barking in the house, and socialization with humans (who he still deeply dislikes but will now tolerate!) Dan and team have always treated us so well and have made me want to be a better dog parent. I am happier and my dog is happier—and that's all that matters! For any dog parents that are getting started: my advice is to go as often as you can. The packages that include recurring training post-camp completion are there for YOU to stop from slipping into bad habits, and to remind your pup that you mean business. New dog parents we meet in class are stunned to hear that my dog ever couldn't be around other dogs or people, and he's now a star student.

Good day, I had 4 previous dogs … 3 as puppies and approximately a 4 year old rescue. She and I became a Therapy Dog Team and visited many hospital patients and home care programs. I was at a loss when she passed. Then, I adopted a bull terrier /terrier mix on February 14, 2025. He was 1year and 2 months old. He was an abused dog, afraid of men, and loved to run. I struggled with him. A friend recommended I reach out to Dan Perata at Dan Perata Training Program to assist me and the bull terrier mix. It was the Best! We took training classes together to start. Then, my schedule changed; he attended Doggy Day Care at Dan’s Monday to Friday for several months. Now, when I need to travel he stays @ Dan’s. I highly recommend Dan and his Team!

We took our severely anxious mini aussie Fitz to Dan and his team when Fitz was 9 months old. He ended up completing the board and train in a few weeks and was absolutely transformed into a confident nearly-off leash boy. It was amazing!! We learned so much through the process (honestly we - the humans - were the ones who probably needed more training), and Dan has been an invaluable resource even since we’ve moved away from California. He’s open to ongoing training and calls that have been so helpful with our younger dog now and we’re always grateful for his experience and expertise! Trust the process - you won’t regret it! We’d commit and invest in this again 10 times over.

My doberman puppy was becoming naughty and unruly and we needed to learn to understand her as well as teach her good doggie manners. We signed her up with Dan Perata Dog Training classes. She took to it pretty well. They worked with her daily and she went for walks as well. We continue to use what we’ve learned. I’m very pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend Dan Perata dog training. ýb
