Curated Canines Dog Training

We can’t say enough great things about Curated Canines! To date, our German Shepherd puppy, River, has gone through two board and trains as well as private sessions. Since working with them, we’ve seen vast improvements in all areas. Walks are no longer a battle, recall is on point, his impulse control has come a long way, and his destructive puppy behavior has calmed down dramatically. We live in a floating home and wanted River to eventually learn how to swim and be comfortable around water. Though it wasn’t something we initially asked for during his board and train, Meredith and Kylah went above and beyond by teaching River how to swim! That kind of thoughtful, personalized touch really sets them apart. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dedicated, thoughtful, and results-driven trainer!

Curated Caines was recommended to us by another family who sang their praise; my expectations where high but I felt if they could half what I hoped I would be happy. I was blown away with the magic Kylah and her crew at Curated Caines did with Molly, our friendly, little on the curious side six month old mini golden doodle. After spending three weeks at Curated Caine, Molly came back happy and eager to show what she had learned. She could walk right by me - with or without the leash. She would stay on her “place” when company arrived waiting to be invited in to meet them. She would sit and stay and understood what her crate and potty area were for. And - for the us - the best thing Molly learned what the meaning of “let’s Go.” When I say that I have her attention completely and she will do what I ask of her where it is Let’s go for a walk with the leash, get into her car seat or go potty on command (most of the time!). Kylah worked her magic on Molly. But it did not stop there. Through three in person visits Kylah taught me how to work with Molly. These visits were spread out over several weeks allowing us time to work on skills together. There were homework assignments - things Molly and I would do together to build our confidence as a team and to teach me how to work with Molly. Kylah would check our progress at the start of each visits then proceed to the next set of skills we needed to know together. These one on one lessons helped cement in me the training cues Kylah taught Molly and reinforce in Molly that she was to obey commands given to her. This was the best part of the training for us as it build us into a team. To say Curated Caines exceed my expectations is stating it mildly. They trained my dog and trained me too. Who says you can’t teach an old dog owner ( 72 years old) a new trick or two - Curated Caines sure did. I highly recommend them - they are worth every penny of it and more.
