Cultured Canine Dog Training

Cultured Canine is truly the best thing that has ever happened for us and our family of 4 dogs. We sent our young boxer, Goose, for board and train after becoming extremely discouraged and sad about Goose’s behavior. He was reactive, pushy, overly excitable and was getting increasingly frustrated as he had no understanding of how to regulate his big feelings. He was very good at cues and tricks as far as “training” but we could not get that to translate to his overall mental state. We were starting to have discussions about rehoming him and our vet even said if we continued on this downward spiral (my words, not hers 🙃) that we might have to consider behavioral euthanasia. A friend of ours said, you have to send him to Cultured and I’m so glad we did. They worked with Goose as an individual and didn’t try to force him to be something he is not. We were worried he was going to lose his fun-loving boxer dog spark but that was far from the case. They worked with his goofy personality and brought it out even more but added in some self control. They were very honest and upfront with us about “this is what your dog can be and this is what he is not.” They teach you how to work with your dog and their quirks instead of against them. The picture posted is one they sent me during a training session with Goose 😂. He LOVES going to Cultured Canine. My favorite thing about Cultured is they truly love animals and care deeply about each and every dog. They send so many updates, videos and pictures. They reached out to check up on us many many times after taking Goose home. You have to put in the work when you get your dog home but they are there to support you every step of the way. They are so responsive and run a great business administratively in addition to their great training. If you know anything about animal people, that is rare 😂. I have no idea where we would be right now without Cultured Canine. Not only did they save our sweet boy but we’ve been able to apply this training to the other dogs in our house and it has made a humongous difference. Thank you thank you thank you for all you do 🙏

I've boarded my working dogs here several times and the whole team is nothing but spot on and professional. They care very much about our dogs. They take pride in their work and run an exceptional facility. ALL FIVE STAR REVIEWS, except for one. By someone who hasn't even set foot on their property. Seems a bit obtuse to me. I encourage you all to give them a try. And actually give them a try. Not just phone conversations. You will not be disappointed. I will continue to use them and trust my dogs to them.

I sent both of my dogs to Cultured Canine and could not be happier! The staff is incredible! The facility is clean and well maintained. I have a rescue and a Rottweiler; the training we received has been a huge relief. The staff teaches you everything they teach your dogs and they make sure that you’re comfortable with all of the process before you take your dog home. Also, they make sure that they (the trainers) are satisfied with you and your dog’s understanding and training. I continue to take my two in for daycare, socializing, and exercise. They continue to get training refreshers and I get a couple days off! 💜
