Creature Coach Dog Training, LLC

Creature Coach has been life changing for us! The out of town rescue recommended a trainer who was out of our service area. That trainer highly recommended Creature Coach. The days used to be so rough that I thought we made a huge mistake adopting our dog, Wrigley. We’ve always had pets, and I thought I was “experienced” enough to help him. The extreme reactions to so many indoor and outdoor sounds sent him to full panic and me to full exhaustion. Couldn’t even have the TV on or listen to videos on our phones. Kit with Creature Coach saved us. Her knowledge of behavior (not just doing “tricks”) is unbelievable and fascinating. She basically translates Wrigley’s behavior and body language to me so that I understand what’s going on with him. It always makes so much sense! She customizes each training session to whatever we need that week. Any time I’ve brought up a new challenge from the previous week, she adds that to our session. Kit really emphasizes SAFETY and HAPPINESS for both dog and dog parents. *One of the biggest accomplishments; Wrigley failed temperament test at boarding. Kit worked with us at parks, home, and neighborhood walks to get him comfortable. He then passed, and now LOVES day care/boarding! We have specific weekly homework each week, which Wrigley and I love to work on every day. We almost always advance to next steps by the time Kit is back following week. We’ve trained on everything from greeting at door, resource guarding, getting up in to car, to fetch, recall, and going on what are now super enjoyable walks. I can’t imagine pet life without Creature Coach.

Our dog loves his training sessions with Kit! Kit is very knowledgeable and her method of training works very well. Kit even leaves notes covering what was done at the end of each session so you can refer to them while continuing to work with your dog (which is important to do daily in between Kit’s training sessions). Our rescue dog’s “possession aggression” issues have reduced dramatically after multiple sessions with Kit.
