If you are looking for an amazing lab, call Matt!! I can't say enough positive things about Matt and Copperwood Kennels. Our dog is a sweet, loving dog who is very trainable and hard working. Not only did we get an extremely handsome and well-mannered lab, Matt was so wonderful to work with. He was extremely transparent and genuinely caring. He's always available and very responsive if you have any questions or concerns about the dog. He is extremely knowledgeable and caring about his customers and his dogs. Matt has our business for life, we are so grateful to have found him and our amazing dog! (pics below are our dog at 10 weeks and at 11 weeks)

Matt is a great guy and 100% honest. He might be busy from time to time working the dogs, but he will always try to answer or give you a call back as soon as possible. I sent my GSP to Matt, and he did a great job. I plan to send my new female black lab puppy to him as soon as I can. If you’re like me, trying to read up on who you’re dealing with. I’m telling you, “your pup is in good hands with Matt.” Can’t say enough good things about him. Truly a good honest worker and takes care of the dogs great. CopperWood Kennels, I want to start off saying Matt and CopperWood Kennels have been an absolute pleasure to work with. Matt is a great guy and in my opinion the best dog trainer around. I will never go to anyone else for anything dog related. Matt has my business for life and will now have many of my hunting buddies business just from hunting with and being around Harley. We got our dog from Matt when she was a puppy and put her through the basic gun dog training program. Matt was very responsive and kept us updated with how she was doing at all times! I could not be happier with how her training went and was excited to get her out in the field. Harley is an absolute beast in the field and when she is out there all she wants to do is hunt. This dog has so much go and is impressive to watch work. However, when she is at home she is also an amazing family dog who my wife adores. She does great with other animals and people and cant help but be loved. I honestly could not have have asked for a better hunting/family dog than we got in Harley. Matt is a superb trainer and runs a tight ship with awesome facilities. My dog stayed at Coppeewood Kennels for over a year and Matt made awesome progress with him He got my dog to consistently hit triples, blinds and to cast. He is definitely a Senior level dog. I saw major improvements in just a few months. The most beneficial part was conducting training with Matt and my dog. This ensured that I was learning to run my dog properly and to become a better handler. A buddy of mine bought a puppy from Matt last year and he has turned into a great gun dog. I highly recommend Copperwood kennels.
