Sara and her team have been great working with our rescue dogs. Whether it is boarding or board and train, our dogs make great progress towards finding their forever home. Dedicated, passionate, knowledgeable and dog loving team, no matter the challenge.
I called a few weeks ago requesting more information about boarding and training my 2 dogs. Their website states dogs are kept in kennels but when I asked about it, my question got deferred and the lady got defensive. I called a few weeks ago requesting more information about boarding and training my 2 dogs. Their website states dogs are kept in kennels but when I asked about it, my question got deferred and the lady got defensive. There is no way I’m leaving my dogs with someone that first of all is located out of their home, where there are no regulations, and no one to keep them accountable. And second I disliked the fact that I couldn’t even see where my dogs would be kept and they don’t do tours of their kennel location. That’s a RED FLAG like what is there to hide? Are the dogs staying in a garage or shed outside? Are they sent to a trainers house? No checks and no balances. Maybe I’m paranoid but I would in no way send my child somewhere with this kind of secrecy. Stay away, there are FAR better places to board and train your dogs while on vacation that have cameras, do tours, and have nothing to hide. They are also very deceptive about how many reviews they have for their training services, their site states they have over 500 reviews on Rover (but Rover has nothing to do with dog training) Do your research before sending your family member to anyone.

Their thoughtful, balanced approach to training is not only highly effective, but also rooted in kindness and respect for each dog’s unique needs. I cannot say enough good things about Sara and her company Connected Canine! Sara is kind, attentive, and truly passionate about animals. She took the time to get to know our dog’s personalities and needs, and kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay. Her home is clean, safe, and set up perfectly for dogs to feel comfortable and cared for. Whether it was playtime, walks, or cuddle sessions, our pup came home happy, healthy, and clearly well-loved. We feel so grateful to have found someone we can fully trust, and we will absolutely be using Sara again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, warm, and professional dog boarding experience!
