I looked around for several dog trainers until I came across CK9. Heidi was the most responsive and answered all my questions. After I signed up, I was a little nervous because my vet said prong training will make my dog worse. It didn’t help that there was a lot of negative opinions online about prong training. I’m a first time dog owner so I was definitely second guessing myself. I’m glad I went ahead with the training. I noticed the big difference on our first walk. No pulling, barking and lunging at other dogs, people or cars. I didn’t have to carry a pocket full of treats. We only had one incident when we walked right next to another dog. Chopper started barking but I quickly diffused the situation. CK9 gave me the tools to be able to handle my dog. They are transparent with the entire training process.

Our family is so thankful we stumbled across Complete K9 Training. EJ & Heidi were awesome! We got two labrador retriever puppies last December and tried the whole positive reinforcement training. The reality was if we didn't have food or treats, we had no control over our two pups. We recently moved to Dallas from San Diego and were at our last straw with the pups. We even gave serious consideration to re-homing one of them, thinking maybe we could not handle the dogs.
We finally decided to enroll our two pups in Complete K9 Training, and it was the best investment ever. Our pups are like whole new dogs. After the two-week crash course, our puppies no longer tug while walking. They sit, stay, come, and are obedient beyond our dreams. They are like little angels now.

The location and boarding site is top notch and definitely committed. The customer relation skills are 5 stars for sure. The owner Heidi works wonders, and is very committed in your needs.
Now for our pup (Cane Corso) in training, she is a completely different dog. She is still very much herself but when it comes time for training and commands to listen to she is a whole different dog. Before she wouldn’t even take a step on a leash, now she is on point and engaged. Best obedience training I could recommend for sure.

Heidi is a miracle worker. We have an amazingly well trained dog who has such good manners, all because of Heidi. She worked with our 7 month old beagle Coco (one of the toughest breeds to train) and helped her to sit, stay, heel, place, and a few little extras. The amount of praise I could sing for EJ and Heidi would make your ears hurt. I signed my 3yo Australian Shepard up for training not expecting much to change. He is very smart, loving, but a total spaz with no attention span whatsoever and a very stubborn mentality. With him being an adult going into training, Heidi warned me that the road ahead would be tougher than with a younger dog. I just picked my boy up on the 21st and the difference in his behavior is already showing. He has been 100% consistent with waiting for my queues to go through doors and will even stay on "place" while I make coffee and meals in the kitchen (for reference he would typically be following me like a shadow). There is an entire road still ahead, but I have never felt this confident in my dog or my own abilities when it comes to proper behavior. I am so excited to continue to see changes and cannot recommend these trainers enough.
