Complete K-9

TL;DR: My dog, Dobby, is a HUGE fan of Complete K-9, and I couldn't agree with him more. I think the pictures I include are hugely important to show how relaxed he is when he's there and illustrate how dedicated Complete K-9 is to making sure I'm comfortable too by sending me updates regularly. The longer story: We've tried a lot of daycares/boarding facilities to find just the right one because our dog has some particular needs. He's both over-excitable/reactive and a medical case. The staff at Complete K-9 has never blinked an eye at either challenge. When Dobby has come back from most other facilities, he'll be exhausted but completely wired and over-stimulated. The fun of no-holds-barred play with other dogs ends up ultimately overwhelming him and not really giving him neutral socialization. By contrast, when Dobby comes home from Complete K-9, he might be tired (not overly-exhausted), but more importantly, he's relaxed in a contented way. They don't just wear him out, they focus on his well-being and work on his self-improvement. Medically, he has both chronic allergies and ear infections AND arthritis in his hips. The staff at Complete K-9 pays special attention to his needs and reports on his health status often. He had a particularly horrible arthritis flare-up while my husband and I needed to leave town. Complete K-9 didn't let him miss out on the fun just because he couldn't participate in group play. They gave him personalized attention, let him hang out in their office, gave him puzzles, took him on slow walks, and worked on training, all at no extra cost to me to make sure he still had enrichment and fun. My dog isn't the only handful. I am a pretty particular type of client, constantly requesting feedback on his well-being and micro-managing his care. The staff there have never made me feel bad about this and always do everything they can to make sure I'm comfortable. The property is gorgeous, quiet, and clean. The large acreage it sits on is tucked away and gives the whole property a quiet, peaceful vibe.

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Complete K-9! Coretta actually worked with Manny when I first adopted him; she took a frightened rescue dog and helped him find his confidence while teaching me how to work with him at home. When I recently relocated to the area, I reached out for boarding needs while I got settled. I expected a safe place to stay and that he would get his basic needs met every day; however, the team has gone above and beyond my expectations… I get report cards about his day along with pictures, and he is having a blast! He is getting refresher courses in discipline and lots of outdoor playtime as well as indoor activities. I never doubted that he would be safe and well cared for, but I didn’t have any idea he would have so much fun. I think he barely misses me! It’s like sending your furry child to their favorite auntie’s for summer 😊 Thank you so much, Coretta, James, Brooklyn, and the rest of the team!!
