The first two classes were fine, then Jonathan told me that he was going to come Thursday and Saturday but never show up, and didn’t give me a heads up. He wasn’t keeping up with the schedule, always took long to answer and never sent me the “schedule” he was going to come up for my dog for his potty training. I texted him Saturday night that I didn’t want to continue with the training, and ask for a refund of the remaining classes. He said I would get a refund, texted him again (2-3 times) but he doesn’t answer me since then. Great at training, but bad communication skills. FYI: In the contract it said, “The client is eligible to discontinue training at any time. In the case of discontinuing the training, the Client will be eligible for a refund. This refund will be for the remaining training that is still needed to be completed that the client has paid for.”

Johnathan was absolutely brilliant. It was our first experience working with a trainer for our golden doodle. It was clear Johnathan was very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience, he explained everything very clearly to make sure we had a great understanding of what exactly he was doing and what we need to work on between sessions to get the best results. Johnathan was always very generous with his time and we really enjoyed working with him. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a trainer to reach out!

I had my dog, an 8-month-old Golden Doodle named Whiskey, trained by Johnathan from Explore Dog Training and I am so happy with the results. Whiskey was a very energetic and playful puppy, but he was also very stubborn and had a lot of bad habits. He would jump on people, not listen to commands, and pull on the leash. I decided to try Explore Dog Training because I had seen Jonathan training my neighbor’s dog and her dog’s manners were impressive. I was not disappointed! He was able to quickly identify Whiskey's problem behaviors and develop a training plan that was tailored to his individual needs. The training program was very comprehensive. It covered everything from basic obedience commands to more advanced skills like heeling, sit-stay, and come. The trainer was very patient and encouraging, and he was always available to answer my questions. After just a few weeks of training, Whiskey was a completely different dog. He was no longer disobedient. He was able to walk on a leash without pulling and without a leash, he sat and stayed on command, and he came when I called him. My neighbors compliment Whiskey on how well-mannered he is. I was so impressed with the results that I decided to continue training with Explore Dog Training. I am now confident that Whiskey is well-behaved and will be a great companion for many years to come.
