Dan at Colorado Dog Academy was an absolute lifesaver for our family. We brought our 9-week-old Cavapoo, Rocky, to him after quickly realizing that balancing full-time work and a busy schedule while trying to properly train a young puppy was more than we could handle on our own. From the very beginning, Dan was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient—not just with our puppy, but with us as new puppy parents too. He took the time to understand our goals and helped build a strong foundation of good behavior, structure, and confidence for our pup. The transformation we’ve seen has been amazing. Rocky is happier, better behaved, and we feel so much more equipped to continue reinforcing what Dan taught us at home. Let me first only say this place is incredible!! Patric has been our savior! I know also Dan and a couple other people were a huge help to our beautiful Maggie girl. We have used grooming, boarding, and 4wk board training programs for her alone. We have also used the training with Our newest addition Oden. Both are Rottweilers our journey has not been simple with Oden and if it were not for Colorado Dog Academy and the help to get Maggie where she is now I do not know where we would be. See our breed is the protectors of their home and of course their people. Maggie has unfortunately been placed into 3 separate time where her Protection of me(Momma) was vital to us. This of course only increased her protection instinct. However I am happy to report since her board training and of course our training with her we have gained an amazing sweet girl. Now will she always need us to be part of keeping her on the right path? OF COURSE! However no owner should ever imagine that to not be the case. She is incredibly behaved knows all the commands she has the best ability to simply ignore passing dogs now! Huge! Now Oden! We could not be happier with the things we have learned to help our little man be the best he will be. We have full control and he has what he needs to be well behaved and live a happy life. GROOMING folks I will never ever do without at least two a year for them both! The HAIR control was unbelievable! My girl looked amazing and sooo very soft and the process was as stress free for her that could be provided. I can not sing praise high enough for Colorado Dog Academy their staff and the ability they all have to help our family!! Thank you all!’

I can’t say enough amazing things about Dan at Colorado Dog Academy! My puppy Finn started with a 4-week board and train when he was just 3 months old, and the progress he made in that short time was incredible. Dan truly has a gift—he’s like a dog whisperer. Since then, I’ve continued bringing Finn back for both private lessons and group classes, and every single session has been a great experience. Dan not only understands dogs, but he also knows how to teach owners in a way that makes training feel natural, positive, and fun. Finn absolutely loves going to see him, and I love the confidence I feel knowing I have the tools and support to raise a well-behaved, happy pup.
