Clickstart Dog Training Academy

I would (and do!) recommend Clickstart to absolutely everyone. My German Shepherd mix, Tux, and I have worked with Cassie and Olivia for nearly two years now! We have taken puppy kindergarten, basic communication, Canine Good Citizen, and online Reactive Rover classes. Each and every one has been uniquely valuable and extremely useful. The evidence-based force-free approaches are always explained in detail and broken down in steps for easy learning. Cassie and Olivia are both experts at explaining, guiding, correcting, and helping you succeed in training with your dog. My dog, Tux, is a little overly excited when he sees other dogs, and the Reactive Rover class was so helpful in understanding his triggers and how we can make progress in helping Tux be calm around exciting things. Cassie, Olivia, and Roma are super organized, professional, and responsive. I have always felt like they are on our team and have recommended them to everyone who asks where we’ve done training. We always get compliments on how good of a dog Tux is, and we owe that in very large part to Clickstart!

I throughly enjoyed taking the online puppy class and tricks class with Clickstart. Even as a professional dog trainer I learned new things and it was a great push/refresher to encourage me to train with my own dogs more frequently. Cassie and Olivia are professional and responsive to the needs of the students in the class, even if they were on different training levels. I highly recommend Clickstart Dog Academy! Keep up the good work ladies!

Cassie and Olivia are amazing! I began this class with an incredibly aggressive dog who jumped on children and the elderly, has drawn blood with bites, and would bark at all hours of the day. Taking him anywhere was incredibly stressful. Because of the exercises and tactics learned And the feedback given in their Reactive Rover class, my roommate’s dog: •Barks less •Barks more quietly than before •is able to pass another dog across the street without flying off the handle •No longer jumps on or barks at people when they come through the door •Hasn’t bitten anyone since •Whines less •Sleeps longer •Enjoys more freedom •Barley minds another roommate’s cat This dog has a more fulfilling life thanks to Cassie and Olivia. We had a great experience with Clickstart! They were extremely friendly both before class and throughout, and were nice enough to allow us to jump into their Perfect Puppy class even though it had already started, so we could get our puppy off on the right foot. Cassie and Olivia both are so knowledgeable and helpful, and I love their commitment to continuing to learn! This wasn't my first time taking a training class (I took one as a teen through a big box chain) but this was so much more in depth, not just the basic obedience type stuff, but really helping you learn and understand things about puppy development and helping them grow up to be confident dogs. They really care about making sure we can offer our furry family members the futures they deserve. Our little pup knows so much now, and is so much braver than the timid, nervous rescue we brought home. Definitely recommend training with them!
