Circle K9

Dave and his team not only take excellent care of your furry family member while you're away, your best friend returns better than ever! We first used Circle K9 for our rambunctious little Australian shepherd pup when he was only 6 months old. My expectations were not high as he had a mind of his own. When we first met Dave to drop him off, we were shown the facility and given an idea on what he would be learning. 2 short weeks later, when we arrived to pick him up, we were greeted with a great surprise that he had actually learned some obedience! The puppy I at one time thought was deaf because he didn't seem to listen at all, was actually performing obedience commands without hesitation! I knew we had found the right place when we went to leave and he didn't WANT to go home! He loves the crew at Circle K9! Since that initial training we signed our companion up for the 6 week advanced obedience course while I was away on work. It was hard on us to part with out little buddy for that amount of time, but we knew he'd love it and we'd love the results. It came time to drop him off and as soon as he saw where he was going his attitude changed from anxious nerves to joy! Upon picking him up after that course, we were shown what he was capable of. We have a partner that can very easily join us on walks off leash, he follows commands without hesitation and is EAGER to please. We will be using Circle K9 for all our boarding and training needs moving forward. I cant wait to see what Tucker learns next!

Training of dogs may be good, but owner needs to learn how to treat a customer. my dog was there for a week and the owner was as rude as she could be as i went to visit my dog. i asked her if i could bring my 12yr old son to come and visit his dog and she said yes. (never stated i needed an appointment) she then told me i could not just show up unannounced and that she was running a business and i could take my dog home with me if i wanted. Her own employee said she has never seen her act like that. a simple explanation of the rules would have gotten her a sorry and i would have fixed the situation. She chose to belittle and talk down to a customer and that is what cost her this one.

Dave and his staff are exemplary. If you are looking for world class dog training look no farther. Concerning price, you absolutely get what you pay for in life. This is not PetSmart weekend potty training class, this is professional dog training and the cost is not much more than simple boarding. Our dog Ragnar spent two months with Dave and is now a competent and trustworthy member of the family. We all look forward to future training sessions as well as possible protection courses. Dave is amazing! He not only completely transformed our crazy, anxious dog into the most lovable, obedient GSD, but he also helped my daughter with her science fair project on GSDs. We are actually consulting with him before we even look for another dog to make sure he can train him as well. His program is nothing short of a miracle and his love for these animals is obvious. Dave has truly changed our lives.
