Circle K9

It's been a few months since Cimarron was there. Our adopted 3yo rott shep mix was a handful. She would mouth constantly, potty in the house, whine constantly, growl at the boys tumbling about, and she went completely insane if she saw the cats. My partner and I were constantly fighting over the dog. Life at home was getting rough. We were on the verge of returning her because nothing had worked. Then we found Circle K9. We put our girl in their three week program. I will be honest - the moment we dropped her off the tension in the household dropped considerably. Things started to go back to normal and I was worried. Worried about what would happen when we brought Cim back. I loved her already but my hubby not so much. I mean the dog had repeatedly gone after his cats so there is that. When I went to pick up the dog I was so anxious that I was nauseous. After a thorough post training session (about 2 1/2 hours) I walked away with a relaxed at ease dog that was being led by a more confident owner. Everything changed from that moment. Cimarron is more than ever a complete part of the family. The relationship that has grown between she and I is something I thought only happened in fiction. Circle K9 has made that possible by breaking down the initial hurdles and supplying me with the tools I needed to be a more confident benevolent leader for our girl. I can't thank them enough for what they have done. But I can let others know of what amazing work they are doing. They are truly changing lives and helping people like me who find ourselves in a rough spot with a good dog. Go, you won't regret it.

Dave is amazing. I had hesitation about boarding and training and researched it along with his techniques. We have done the board and train for 8 weeks and Dave and his trainers were finished with my GSD mix in 6 weeks. Great progress made, but at the end of the day, they show you how to continue the reinforcement and training at home. Highly recommended. I wish we lived closer so we can be there more often to continue to learn and train.

I have a 2 yr old GSD that has attacked one of our sheep - twice. So I desperately needed help. I got Dave's number from the Greater Houston German Shepherd Resce because I was considering giving her up for adoption...my heart was breaking at the thought - but we couldn't have a dog that was a risk to our farm animals. I left Dave a message through his wife and he called me back when he got in from training. He listened to me and reassured me that this was not a problem at all. It would be a fairly easy fix - using "pressure" techniques. I was all ears. He asked me to get a shock collar and call him when I received it. Long story short...after just 1 hour lesson at our home, my dog was a "new" dog. Happy, respectful, and super responsive to my COME command. I have been using the collar for our daily training...but realized that there was no charge, yet she still responded impeccably. I am hoping to go visit Circle K9 in a few weeks to get another private lesson from Dave. Thanks Dave - you're great!
