Chucktown Charley

We moved full time from DC to our home on Johns Island in July 2020 and would often see the charming Chucktown Charley sign while driving on Main Rd and thought it looked so interesting. Fast forward six months when a darling mini golden doodle puppy entered our lives. After spending a few weeks with puppy Doc we knew he was fun, smart, cute and that we needed expert assistance with training our puppy to be the best he could be. After researching our local options there was no doubt that Chucktown Charley would be a perfect fit, from their excellent website, thorough application, intro phone call and zoom meeting, we couldn’t wait for Doc to play and train with the team. Not only did Doc have training but Mom and Dad did too and it is delightful to receive his weekly report cards and have our visits to watch him show off. The tools we receive to help us continue training at home on evenings and weekends are excellent and most importantly we see the results. Doc is so excited to go to “school” and we are very happy to have the Chucktown Charley team be a part of our lives.

The best investment we’ve made with our pups. I highly recommend Chucktown Charlie! The results we have seen are outstanding, and their techniques and methods are easy to understand and implement. We have two Aussies that are little mates so that is no small task! It’s also great to note, even though they were boarded with them for several weeks our training didn’t stop there. We’ve continued with training sessions for several months after which has definitely made a huge impact for us to get it right. I cannot give enough praise for their services.

After receiving numerous emails and having a conversation about starting the process to get my puppy enrolled, I received an email saying that they are unable to accept my dog at this time Due to covid 19. Would have loved to start out with this knowledge instead of wasting a few weeks of meaningless conversation and actually found a facility that wants business. Stop wasting people’s time if you know you can’t accept new clients!
