Christian K-9 Academy

The change in my dogs is nothing short of remarkable! I took my 2 dogs in for the 20 day board and train. My American bully was a lunatic when I brought her in….no leash manners, WAAAYYYY too much for other dogs, she barked and pulled and acted a fool anytime I tried to take her anywhere, so I stopped. Now, we can go anywhere together with ease. Even to the vet (with other dogs and cats around!) To get this dog to actually lie down and stay was only a pipe dream before Dean and the team helped us. My retriever mix was a very smart, sweet boy, and now his manners are impeccable. (I can also take them ANYWHERE, by myself even!) I could not possibly recommend Christian K9 Academy (and Dean!!) any more. I sincerely wished I’d sent them sooner! The updates are awesome and they are always reachable. They truly went above and beyond ❤️

Huge shout out to Dean and thanks to everyone at the Christian K-9 Academy. My 4 year old German Shepherd (Kaia) was super reactive towards other dogs on walks and was not the friendliest towards people. I made matters worse by hiding her away in fear that she would actually bite someone, but now after her 20-day board and train she doesn't give anyone the time of day and minds her own business while we walk with more confidence. She is still protective of the house and reactive to anyone coming to the door, but Dean provided a few tools to help us continue training her at the house. It would obviously be an unreal expectation to have 4 years of behavioral problems turn around in 20 days, especially with a protective breed like a GSD. I received updated photos and videos every couple of days with a short narrative about what they have accomplished and what they were currently working on. She looked like she was very well taken care of and was returned clean with new tools of the trade (and was cleaned again after getting peed on by one of her new playmates during out-processing). I would recommend using Christian K-9.

We had a one hour private lesson with Mitch and Maddie, our 14 week old puppy. That hour went by so fast but we learned how to teach Maddie to heel which I didn’t think was possible at such an early age. Also learned how to give the command “down” without saying a word and it worked. She was doing it before the hour was over. Mitch gave great advice to keep Maddie from biting. Very excited to try these new techniques at home and get them mastered before returning for Lesson 2. Christian K-9 Academy is the real deal and they know how to train dogs! They are upfront and to the point which is what you need to be successful with your dog. We highly recommend them.
