When I found out how much a 2 week stay and train program for our new puppy would be I was a little shocked. Nick and Lauren had competitive pricing, but their passion for dogs and the fact our sweet puppy would be in a home for 2 weeks and not a large boarding facility made us choose them. We planned it for a time we would be out of town for spring break. Thank goodness we did - worth every penny! Our Brittany-doodle puppy came back to our large family (4 kids 10 and under) a much better listener. Scout is not even 1 but she is getting really good at not jumping on people, has excellent leash manners, and they worked with her on not darting out of the door which was a problem we mentioned at drop off. Our favorite unexpected skill is Scout staying in her “place” while we cook and eat dinner. No begging! The hour lesson at pick up and then the follow up trainer visit were invaluable to her continued success at home. We also love that Nick and Lauren encourage us to text training questions at any time, even if we aren’t doing a class with them. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to train their dog to be a good citizen. We will continue to work with them and already have a reservation for boarding this summer for her to refresh her skills! Thanks Chicagoland Dog Training!

Nick and Lauren are amazing! Our golden doodle, Charlie was an out of control puppy before he went to Chicagoland Dog Training for their 14 day "Stay & Train" program. As a first time puppy owner, this was a game changer. I highly recommend this program to anyone that is struggling with their dog. Charlie is so much calmer and obeys the basic commands which allows us to enjoy him so much more. It is so obvious that Nick and Lauren absolutely love what they do! They took such great care of Charlie while he was there. We received updates and pictures throughout his stay. They have remained available to us for questions and concerns. Thank you Nick & Lauren!

Nick and Lauren were incredible with our Bernese mountain puppy miles! When we got Miles, a week after we brought him home, he broke his toe, making training tricky. Typical puppy issues were happening like difficulties crate training, potty training, biting etc, but just made harder with the broken toe. I found Nick and Lauren via a Bernese mountain dog page and reached out and they responded quickly and immediately jumped on a phone call to chat through any concerns we had and how to work through them! They were available via phone for any and all questions we had which was so helpful! Especially when you Google a given dog problem and get a million different ideas of how to help pop up and can feel overwhelming. Fast forward to Miles’ toe healing, he went to a 2 week stay and tray with Nick and Lauren at their house. They gave us updates every other day on his progress and how great he was doing! Now that he is home, Miles is doing amazing! A huge improvement in his walking on a leash, command following (sit, stay, down, etc.) and his biting is so much better! Just in two weeks, such an improvement in so many areas! Nick and Lauren truly care about all the dogs they train and want them to be successful! Highly recommend for any of your training needs. Now, Miles is 5 months old and has an incredible foundation of training, rather than having bad habits develop for longer and work on them later. Thank you Chicagoland Dog Training!

Oh Lord. How do I even begin … I got a 4.5 month rescue Goldendoodle puppy, Yoshi. He was wild! I don’t know which one is worse. Bolting out to the yard once you opened the door and almost tripped few times or him jumping on my neighbor’s 13 yr female Bichon or lunging to every guests that came to my house or playing rough and nipping at my kids. I tried to train him but his physical growth rate was much faster than the training I could do. There I knew I had to find someone to help me. That’s where Lauren and Nick came to the rescue. We did a 2 week board and train. When the 2 weeks was up, Nick and Lauren went through what everyone in my family should do moving forward with him Yoshi still has his sweet and funny personalities but he is much much calmer and we love him even more. Yoshi now listens much better, he no longer pulls the leash when we walk him, he waits when we open the door, he stays in his place when guests come and many more. Lauren and Nick are always available to help if you have any questions. They are only a text away. I cannot thank Lauren and Nick enough for what they have done for us. Thank you Nick and Lauren! You are both wonderful and God sent ❤️

After bringing home our newborn, the once manageable behavioral quirks of our fur baby were no longer as cute and tolerable. We sent our sweet Winnie to Nick and Lauren for the two week stay and train program and we're forever grateful for the manners and obedience she has learned. We now have ways to manage and redirect her high levels of energy. Her leash manners have improved, she waits patiently at the top and bottom of the stairs, stays in her place when we have guests and has learned to greet guests without jumping. And most importantly, we have tools to help maintain safe boundaries between her and the baby while also allowing her to feel included. Nick and Lauren didn't just train and send us on our way...they provided follow up visits and open lines of communication via phone/text whenever we have a question - they are always happy to help. And, when Winnie saw them at follow up appointments she could not have been more excited! It goes to show what great hands she was in! Thank you again Nick and Lauren!
