Cherry Hoggs

Cherry Hoggs is a local gem. I brought my dog to a few other trainers and daycamps before finding these guys. Everyone else either didn't work with her and told me she was a bad fit, or isolated her, or taught me training techniques that seemed to reinforce troublesome behaviors. Since working with Cherry Hoggs my pup listens and she is getting the socialization she needs. Cherry Hoggs has been a game changer for us. I am so grateful they are here in Minneapolis and that they take such good care of Daisy every week.

I would not allow this guy to touch my dog again with a 10ft pole! This trainer is NOT certified and uses highly outdated training methods! Do yourself and your dogs a favor, and find a trainer who has formal education in dog behavior. He spouts being "pack leader" when the entire idea of pack leadership was debunked a long, long time ago. Certified dog trainers cost about the same as this guy, but they actually have formal education by independently accredited organizations. You wouldn't see a doctor who didn't have a medical degree. Don't take your dog to a trainer who isn't certified.

Cherry Hoggs is fabulous! I live in Chicago but they were willing to find a solution for me. I just wish I lived close enough for my pup to go more often. Before we signed up my dog was sweet but thought she was in charge (my fault). Now I know how to be her leader and she doesn't have to stress. They are confident, capable and caring instructors.
