Cherry Hoggs

We loved our experience at Cherry hogs! Charlie Brown is a much better dog than he used to be. That sounds a bit harsh. We always loved him! But he used to be really leash reactive, and it was hard to trust him around other dogs, not to mention squirrels. Now, walking him is relaxing and enjoyable. Cherry Hogs gave us great tools to manage and train him. Now, when people knock on the door, instead of apologizing while he lunges at them and barks in their face, I tell him to sit, and he quietly waits until I tell him he can greet our guests politely. I’m so grateful to Charlie (confusingly, that is the name of our dog and dog trainer) and Frankie! Plus it was super fun getting to know them :-)

Frankie, Charlie and the rest of the team are quite remarkable. They take a loving, common sense approach to dog training. Our Birdie was a Covid baby. We got her about 18months ago, at which time she had never been outside. Her prior owner kept her like a cat in their apartment, pottying on piddle pads. She was afraid of everything except for my wife and I. Within a few weeks at Cherry Hoggs, she understood that she was a dog, and could play with other dogs and even people! She loves going to Cherry Hoggs, and the pack work has been amazingly beneficial for her. I recommend Cherry Hoggs without reservation.

My rescue dog, Horace, has been absolutely transformed since bringing him to Cherry Hoggs. The intentional work that Charlie and Frankie put into building his confidence is unparalleled. In addition to training from Charlie and Frankie, Horace gets to interact with many dogs each day and has learned from the established members of the pack. As an energetic dog, Horace benefits greatly from the 8-9 hours of daily activity and is absolutely knackered when he gets home. 10/10 would recommend.
