Certified Canine Services

I have been meaning to post this for a while now. My college age daughter brought home a Pomsky named Teddy at the end of the semester May 2025. Since this was our first dog, I didn’t really have any experience in training him. He was extremely loving, but had terrible separation anxiety. As the summer was coming to an end, I was panicking because I knew there was no way that she could bring the dog back to college and come and go from the apartment without him incessantly, barking, and disturbing the neighbors. We contacted canine camp and drove him all the way up from New York City where he spent three weeks there being boarded and trained. I have to say when we picked him up three weeks later it, was nothing short of a miracle. He is now a well trained dog that responds to all our commands. We were also able to leave him at all times without him barking for hours.We cannot thank you enough for what you did with Teddy. I don’t know how you did it, but if anyone has a difficult dog to train, this is the place to go. Thank you again!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I cannot say Thank-You enough to Brad, Rachel, and the rest of the staff. We have a one year old Cane Corso who was extremely fearful and aggressive. We couldn't take him anywhere, and having company at our house was very stressful. We were worried about his quality of life, and the safety of others. After working working with Certified Canine Sefvices, Bode's transformation has been nothing short of amazing. He is now balanced, confident, and happy. We can take him into stores, go on amazing long walks, and even have people come to our home! The difference in him is truly night and day. What made this journey with Bode even more special is they didnt just train him. They gave us the knowledge and tools we need to help him succeed. We finally understand how to communicate with him. Watching Bode enjoy life, instead of being in constant fear feels incredible. We are forever grateful for Certified Canine Services and how they've helped our family. We sent Nando to Certified Canine Services for their 3 week puppy training program, and honestly, it made such a huge difference. Before training, he was your typical puppy — constantly jumping, not listening when called, difficult on a leash, eating his meals so aggressively he would sometimes throw up, barking when left alone or at night, having frequent accidents with no warning, and overall just very excitable and hard to control. After training, the change in him has been amazing. Not only was the training successful, but we genuinely enjoy his company so much more now. He’s calmer, listens better, and is much easier to manage both at home and out in public. The team gave us the tools and skills we needed to continue working with him, and we feel really confident that with consistent practice, Nando will only continue becoming an even more obedient and loving boy. We also love being able to go back and watch the training videos they recorded. It’s honestly so refreshing seeing how attentive and responsive Nando is the second he hears their voices. You can tell their training is done with so much love, patience, and praise, and that made all the difference for us. We’re so grateful for everything they did for him!

I have a weimaraner that had separation anxiety and just overall anxiety. He was reactive to people and dogs and it was so bad, I couldn't take him out in public. At home he would pace from my front door to my back door and bark nonstop while I was at work. I brought him to Certified K9 as my last effort to try to get him to be more balanced, but I didn't have very high expectations since previous training was ineffective. He stayed for a 5 week board and train and the dog I got back is night and day from the one I dropped off. He is still stubborn, but he now lays quietly in bed when I'm at work. I can take him in the community and feel like I have control over him, so it's actually pleasant. His whole demeanor is just more relaxed and balanced. I didn't realize how much his anxiety was impacting our relationship until now. I was always stressed out around him, but now I get to be just relaxed and affectionate with my dog. Seriously the best money I've spent in years.

We had an excellent experience with Certified Canine while training our silver lab, Zira. From start to finish, the trainers were personable, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. They made the entire process feel approachable and supportive, which we truly appreciated. Their facility is clean, tidy, and extremely well organized, which immediately gave us confidence in their operation. Beyond working with Zira, they did a fantastic job training my husband and me as well. They clearly explained the commands they use, why they use them, and how to apply them effectively at home so we could get the most out of the training program. We saw meaningful progress and felt empowered to continue reinforcing the training on our own. We would absolutely recommend Certified Canine to anyone looking for dog training and will certainly be returning in the future.
