FirstBarkCarter's Kennels does a great job of taking care of dogs there. Kennels are well maintained all dogs are treated well. The training program they offer for dogs is top notch especially for any obedience and hunting dog training you would want your dog to have. Highly recommend them.

Our goal is to create excellent companions. Whether you desire a well behaved pet, going on a water fowling adventure, a fall afternoon in the dove field, pointing quail in the long leaf timber or bringing them to the wagon, we can help to make it happen. We take individual needs very seriously as this helps to provide the best service to owners and their pets. We provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment for your pet. We treat all dogs as if they were our own. All kennels are sanitized and soaped down daily for cleanliness and odor control. We will give medications or make any special accommodations needed for you and your companion. They will get daily exercise while staying here. Please contact us for more information.

Great place!!
We brought our Chocolate Lab Maggie to Jody for hunting and obedience training. He took great care of her and provided a lot of insight for me as well. He never seemed rushed when I visited and always made time on weekends. I enjoyed seeing Maggie progress into an obedient dog and for me to learn to continue training as well.
We sent our boy , Sarge, here for training. Sarge was a wide open lab, and he returned to us very well trained. We came once a week to see sarge and get a little bit of training ourselves. It was clear that Jody cares for every dog he encounters. We send Sarge back anytime we need boarding and will use Carter''s in the future for any training needs. 10/10 would and do recommend.
