We had an absolutely incredible experience with Carlisle K9 Dog Training. From day one, they did everything they said they were going to do—and then some. Our dog used to pull constantly on the leash and would barely listen to commands, but now the difference is night and day. He walks calmly, responds when we ask him to do something, and overall just feels like a completely different dog. You can tell they truly care about the dogs and take the time to build real, lasting results. I’ll be honest—this is an investment, and they’re not the cheapest option out there. But after trying less expensive training before and getting nowhere, I can confidently say it is worth every single penny. If I could go back in time, I would have skipped the cheaper options and gone straight to Carlisle K9 Dog Training. My husband and I searched for a trainer for three months, and by the grace of God we came across Carlisle K9. One afternoon after lunch, we happened to drive by, gave them a call, and everything started falling into place for us and our Mali/GSD puppy. He was becoming uncontrollable—everything started as fun and games, but then the aggression began toward my husband and other dogs. The barking, growling, and overall behavior was wearing on everyone, including our puppy. Brad and Helen sat with us for nearly three hours that Saturday afternoon, carefully explaining what needed to happen and walking us through their process. It wasn’t about breaking his spirit—it was about positive reinforcement, behavior correction, and building a better relationship with him. Demo stayed with them for two months. Yes, 2 months. Unlike many trainers we spoke with who offered a quick two-week program, Carlisle K9 invested real time into him—building his confidence while correcting negative behaviors in a positive and structured way. He’s now home, and only two days in, the difference is honestly night and day. We’ll continue working with him at home and through follow-up conditioning sessions, but the calm feeling is back in our home and the chaos is gone. There is truly no way we could ever thank Brad, Helen, and Cat enough. The results of their behavior modification program absolutely work, and we are forever grateful. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone needing assistance with their dogs. They have a plethora of programs and specialize in tailoring the needs for each dog.
