Wow, where to start? Maya is a modern-day dog-whisperer with a compassionate, committed and tailored approach that worked wonders. Her expertise, passion for training and love for dogs was evident as soon as she walked in the door. Our seven-year-old Murphy had gone from happy and goofy to anxious and nervous, seemingly overnight. We were crushed to witness this change and frankly at a loss as to what to do. Enter Maya. She knew from the initial intake what our concerns were and immediately focused on Murphy to better understand him and his personality, motivation and tendencies. He responded positively to her right away and reacted to Maya with an obvious sense of trust and comfort. She was very patient but firm and her positive reinforcement got almost instant results. It was also impressive that she took the time to educate us, as owners, on how to consistently reinforce her customized training plan for Murphy. We thought we’d tried everything, but she taught us a number of new tips and techniques that worked. We’ve been so pleased with his turnaround – it feels like we have our old Murphy back – and can’t thank Maya enough. We can’t recommend her highly enough!
