Canine Unifursity Dog Training

Boy oh boy, I do not even know where to start!! Tess is our first puppy and let me tell you, WE had a lot more learning to do than she did! We did not even know where to begin with training. We are so lucky to have found Kaylee and her whole team!! They have really tapped into Tess' potential and she is an incredible pup - and still learning every day!! We completed her off leash training recently (I think that marks three total weeks of training, give or take a few days), and we love the idea that we can bring her back for refresher weeks to sharpen her skills. It is so nice to have her attentive on walks, responding to recall, and the "place" command has been invaluable!! She does that very, very well. I have to confess, that I am not the most diligent trainer, but that makes us even more grateful for Kaylee and the crew! They have trained us as much as they have trained our pup, and we are slowly and steadily working more with Tess at home (let me tell you, it is a lot easier once she has some good building blocks in place!). More than anything we are at peace knowing that Tess is happy, well taken care of and loved while we are not with her. I read a few of the other reviews and I do not want to just restate it all again - but everything is 100% true!! The photo and video updates are awesome, the communication, the flexibility, the courtesy, the love, and some dang good dog training! Several times we had question after we picked Tess up and Kaylee always responded quickly with thorough explanations and made herself available to help us in an ongoing nature which we really, really appreciate (and need!). We hope Tess can be a therapy dog someday. We know it will take a lot of work on our part, but we never would have seen the potential without Kaylee and her team! Thanks for eveyrhitng guys!! Just finished a 2 week "boot camp" training for my Service Dog, Ava. She had difficulty holding a down position for extended periods when I needed to move around and not in a position to correct her. She would also put her paws on folks, also when I was not in a position to correct her. I do a lot of public speaking. Before you come after me, I trained her myself. Kaylee and Jake did an excellent job teaching her and gave me the tools to make corrections during public speaking engagements. I can not say enough about their training techniques and how much Ava adores them. I am thinking about sending Ava once a year to them to polish up on her training, which says a lot when you consider she is my service dog.

My dog Amber was a visitor to Canine Unifursity for the 3 Week Advanced Obedience Board & Train Program in early December. I purposely waited a few weeks before submitting a review to see how well Amber retained the training. Amber’s two most annoying habits were, not responding to the “come” command and controlling her distraction level on walks. Well, I can tell you that Kaylee and Jake did a tremendous job with Amber, not only in these two areas, but her overall training as well. Over the course of past few weeks, I have had multiple occasions to call Amber back to me and she responds almost immediately. Also, on walks Amber distraction level has decreased tremendously. When Amber starts to get distracted, a simple reminder is all that is needed to turn her attention back to me. Whether your dog’s needs are for basic or more complex training, I would emphatically recommend Canine Unifursity. Kaylee and Jake, a big thank you from me.

We recently completed a 3-week board and train program at Canine Unifursity with our dog, Bella, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Bella had been struggling with leash walking, anxiety and fearfulness, but Kaylee worked wonders with her. She took the time to understand her needs and tailored the training specifically to help her overcome these challenges. Throughout the program, they kept us well-informed with regular updates via video and text, which gave us confidence that Bella was in great hands. Not only did she work diligently with Bella, but Kaylee also made sure to train us as well, providing thorough guidance on how to continue supporting her progress at home. The communication and care from her was exceptional, and we are beyond grateful for Kaylee's expertise. Bella has made remarkable strides, and we feel so much more equipped to help her moving forward. We Highly recommend Canine Unifursity for anyone looking to address their dog's behavioral issues with a caring and professional team! Kaylee and Jake are just extraordinary, you can tell they really love what they do. They put their all into the dogs in their care. They are so extraordinary I'm convinced if I would've sent Bella for the 6 week training session she would've came home knowing how to do laundry and the dishes 😉 I honestly can't say enough good about Canine Unifursity.
