Howard is AMAZING. Seriously the best. He has years of experience and isn't afraid to be upfront and honest with you on how you as a trainer are progressing. He was extremely reliable! He came to our house and worked with not one, but two of our dogs. It's important to note that while Howard is life-changing- your dogs will not change unless you as the trainer do. You need to be consistent and follow his instructions and change will come with time!! the program is designed to set you up for success. I have a rescued mix breed dog who has fear aggression. She has been with us over 4 years. We recently got a new puppy. I witnessed an incident where my rescue viciously attacked my older dog. I cried all night, thinking I would have to take her (the rescue) and have her put down. A friend suggested training. I can not begin to tell you the difference Howard has made in our lives. I learned so much. My dog is calmer knowing now that she doesn't have to be in charge. During Lesson 1 Howard said before the end of the course, we would be making a field trip, where there were people, and my dog would perform obedience commands. Deep down I KNEW, IF we had to go it would be ugly. There would be barking and lunging and growling and teeth baring at every person. Well that day arrived.........I blinked back tears as we progressed through this social setting and my dog was more focused on me than on the surroundings. Howard changed our lives!!!! We are dog lovers but that doesn’t mean we speak dog. This became even more apparent when our little 10 month old pup, which came from a shelter, turned our comfortable lives upside down. She was a wild child, but that all changed after our first private lesson with Howard. After eight weeks of lessons, she is a completely different dog. We are also different.
