Does my male white golden retriever need to be neutered in order to pass the Canine therapy corp test and do volunteer work?
Thank you for your inquiry. No. CTCorps does not currently require its therapy animals to be altered.

What type of training does the dog have to have to participate?
Enough training where a dog can pass every part of the test. The dog must score a 100% to pass the test.

This organization is one of the best in Chicago! Worked with them on bringing therapy dogs to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. They have a great team of staff and dedicated volunteers!
The best decision I made to volunteer my time at such a great organization. I take my dog poppi and work at the rehab institute of Chicago to enhance people's lives. It's a must with this program if you want to give back with your dog! 👍🏻
