This was my first session with CanineStarr, and I couldn't be more impressed! I learned so much during our time together, and I've already started seeing improvements in my dog's behavior. Joseph is incredibly knowledgeable and showed me effective techniques to address my dog's reactivity. I highly recommend CanineStarr!
Joseph has been great in our initial training sessions with our rescue pup. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with and has shared really good tips and ways to work through behavioral challenges. If you are considering getting a dog trainer, even if testing it out for one session - trust me when I say don't hesitate to reach out to Joseph! We contacted Joseph to get some help with our English Bulldog who was struggling with over-excitement/reactivity and some classic of non-socialized pandemic puppy behavior. As soon as our first session Joseph left us feeling so much better and hopeful! You can tell he knows what he is doing and truly loves and wants the best for all dogs (and their owners!). He gave us excellent advice and ways to keep practicing obedience and calming our dog down. He even invited us for a walk next to his dog on one of our sessions - which was a huge step as Corbin has never been able to walk next to another dog without getting reactive before. I could go on and on - bottom line is - Joseph is an fantastic trainer and person, and has improved our dogs and our own quality of life tremendously! Would 1000% reach out to him again for any future dog training help!

Would highly recommend Joseph for dog training! When we started with Jospeh, our mini golden doodle puppy was very easily over excited and jumped on people and tried to play with every dog we saw and was difficult to leash walk. We did not know how to effectively get her to listen or settle down. After 8 sessions, walking her is a breeze and we are able to manage her behavior and energy levels with an effective method that she responds well too. We will definitely be calling him again for future training!
