We rescued an abused 1 year old Akita in 2020. At the time we did not realize what a challenge she would be as we had 2 male Akita’s previously. We struggled for many months as she was afraid of everything. We could not walk her without a struggle or get her in the car to get a vet check. We tried to find a trainer who knew and understood the breed. A neighbor mentioned Canine Purpose. Weston came to the house for an evaluation and scheduled 1/2 dozen sessions at my house. And wow! what a difference. We were able to advance to group at the Loomis location. The rest was for us a result we never thought possible … Misa now goes to training, day play and boarding. She loves the staff and day play with the other dogs… I never dreamed it possible. Today she is a different dog thanks to Weston and all his team that make Canine Purpose perfect for dogs and owners. I literally cannot say enough good things about Canine purpose. Two years ago we adopted a 6 month old dog that had been on the streets. We named her Joy.To say she was wild would be an understatement. We knew she needed some training but also knew that her wild temperament would need extra care. My friend gave me the number for the training place she was using for her 2 German Shepards. I called and that began our past 2 year relationship. They gave me the skills, the confidence, the corrections and the support to train my wild child. We have used all facets of this business and every time I am more and more impressed. The professionalism , kindness and love of working with animals shows through every employee I have encountered. Our goldendoodle absolutely loves the care at Canine Purpose. He literally bounds out of the car when I arrive to drop him off! Weston and all the Canine Purpose employees are so kind and caring and take great care of our furry bundle of energy. It is so reassuring to know our pup is having the time of his life when we need to leave him to go out of town. We are so grateful!
