My husband and I can’t rave enough about the staff and amazing services we receive at Canine PhD. We have been loyal customers since 2018, having taken both of our dogs there for various sport classes (agility and barn hunt) and training (private and group). We have relied on their training and behavioral expertise heavily for our young german shepherd dog, as we learned to manage her reactivity to other dogs. Canine PhD was instrumental in helping us gain confidence with her. We also frequently board our shepherd in their kennel overnight. She receives the best care during her stays and the staff goes above and beyond by sending email updates and pictures of our girl, which we absolutely love. Canine PhD truly is her second home. We are so grateful to have access to such a top-notch facility where the staff cares for our dogs like family members. We highly recommend them!

Meredith Minkin has created an awesome business that can help with any dog behavior that needs addressed and a place where humans can interact with their furry friends in a meaningful way through all of the various classes they offer. I’ve had the privilege of working with Canine PhD for beginner barnhunt, nose work and agility. The people running the classes were knowledgeable and made the experience fun and exciting for me and my dog! I can’t recommend them enough!

I have been training with Meredith, Betty, and Bethany at Canine PhD for 2 years and they have worked with me to help teach my lab how to be a productive and polite canine member of society as well as dog sports. We have taken the perfect puppy, family manners, dock diving, nosework, CGC, and private trick training classes which has led to the facility being my lab’s favorite place in the world! I also board my lab with Canine PhD and they are amazing with him! I receive pictures of his playtime multiple times a day and he always looks so happy to be interacting with whomever is responsible for him at the time. I will continue training and boarding with Canine PhD for my current dog and any future dog I own.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with our trainer, Bryan! We did private lessons for our puppy, now a 7 month old Brittany/Poodle mix, and it has been a transformative experience. I was shocked that we covered all of my concerns in HALF the amount of sessions that I expected (seriously, how did my wild puppy that loved to jump on the table and chase our cats turn into this calm dog playing contently in her dog bed?), and Bryan did an incredible job allowing us to use the remaining sessions to address random other behavioral concerns as they appeared. Bryan went above and beyond by watching videos outside of our sessions to analyze my puppy’s behavior, answering emails with any concerns I had between sessions, and creating personalized sessions that gave us the training we needed to create a strong bond and sense of communication between me and my dog. The sessions were highly organized, the resources provided were clear and personalized, and the professionalism was unparalleled. Hands down, this is the best investment I could have put into my dog, and I can’t wait to try out the group classes soon!
