Canine Perspective: Structured Daycare, Boarding & Training

This daycare and boarding program has been a life saver. Beyond reinforcing our training throughout the day, they actually understand how to handle dogs. Most daycares we have tried simply put the dogs in a room for the whole day for constant play, which is a recipe for disaster. Canine takes the time to learn your dog's quirks and personality to set them up for long term success. I never have to worry about Remi when she is with the Canine team! I find it incredibly hard to fathom that anyone that actually talks to them/utilizes their services would say anything negative about Jesse and his team. This muzzling fiasco playing out in the reviews is absolute nonsense......A single disgruntled past client orchestrating an effort to tear down a small business that brings so much joy to so many dogs and owners is borderline criminal imo. Especially when the animal in question was also a long time daycare/boarding participant! I guess some people struggle with the fact that they themselves may be the problem!! This amazing place is willing to take in and watch dogs that many other daycares are ill-equipped or flat out refuse to have (muzzled or not). Muzzles (for certain dogs) are essential so that the rest of the animals and staff can feel safe and maximize fun/play (and so that muzzled animals/owner can still utilize the services). Canine is very clear about this from the start and makes no secret that these practices will be employed if deemed necessary .

My boyfriend and I brought our aggressive doberman (Goku) for behavioral and obedience training. Jesse and his team were able to structure the proper training to help with his nervousness/aggressive behavior. Training involved socializing him with various dogs, e-collar training, bite suit training, off leash, heel, walking in reverse, emergency down, muzzel training, and much more. The combination of all these trainings has help Goku built confidence and is no longer the same nervous/ aggressive dog. I recieve many compliments on how well train he is and I couldn't have asked for any other trainer besides Jesse! Would recommend to anyone who is in need of behavioral and obedience training!!

The entire team at Canine Perspective is absolutely wonderful. I initially did 1x1 training with Jesse to help work through some leash reactivity and reinforce basic behaviors. The results and progress my dog, Remi, has made is outstanding. We always get compliments on her behavior in public settings and I love to show off all of the great things we've learned. We've also been utilizing their daycare and boarding facilities for just under 2 years now and can't say enough amazing things!! Remi LOVES the team at Canine and I can rest easy on vacation knowing she is in good hands. I am so thankful we found CP and can't imagine taking Remi anywhere else. Thank you again to the amazing team!! Remi and I are so greatful for you guys! If I could rate you 10 stars I would!

Jesse and his staff are the only people I trust my dogs with. Our older dog was trained by Jesse almost 5 years ago. And we couldn’t ask for a better behaved dog and role model for our new puppy. There was no question who we were going to for training our puppy 5 years later. Our puppy gets the bonus of the fantastic staff we have been working with. Since going to Canine Perspective, our puppy has learned so much and has made so much progress. We’ve also been taking our first dog for day care and we couldn’t be happier! The structure Canine Perspective provides is exactly what our dogs need. They aren’t just thrown into kennels and let out every 6 hours to use the bathroom and maybe socialize. They are stimulated, training is reinforced and they socialize. Our two dogs are pitbulls, so this is especially important to us. Our older dog has been turned away from other facilities because he is a pitbull, even though he is so loving and playful. Canine Perspective welcomes all breeds and temperaments. Jesse and his staff provide structure and routine but also care for my dogs. Both of my dogs always get excited when I drop them off. I never doubt that they are going to have a good day and are being taken care of. Reconnecting with Jesse and Canine Perspective has brought me peace of mind when it comes to my dogs. The staff is always so welcoming and answer my questions no matter how silly I think they are. They are the first and only people who I trust to take care of my dogs. The ONLY people.
