Steve is absolutely amazing. We have a 10 month old German Shephard rescue that had some resource guarding and a physical altercation with a human. Steve spent a few hours with our dog and within one session, we noticed such a change. He gave us the tools we need to keep working with our dog daily and he checks in frequently. He listens, he cares and he knows how to help. I 100% recommend Steve and the K9 Nation Training Center.

Cannot say enough good things about Steve and his work with our dog!!! We had taken our dog to a local trainer (not Steve) for a 2-week training when he was 6 months old. Our dog came back and initially knew/understood the basic commands, but he quickly slipped back into old habits and gained some new ones. Frustrated, I reached out to Steve and signed our dog up for his training program. Even though Steve is 5 1/2 hours from where we live, I wouldn't hesitate to drive twice the distance to bring our dog to him. From the moment we arrived, my only fear was that our dog was going to be so loved while he was at training that he may not want to come home. Steve's genuine love and passion for the dogs is evident in everything he does, and he has a beautiful property where everything is intentionally designed for the dogs' training and comfort. When we arrived to pick our dog up from training, Steve held a workshop for the dog owners to teach us how he was communicating with the dogs, and it was so helpful to see the positive reinforcement and correction tools that he had instilled in our dog. Steve's training definitely helped our dog understand when he was doing right/wrong, and is going to help us enjoy our relationship with our dog even more.
