FirstBarkLaura is a great dog trainer. She is compassionate and knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior. She offers great advice on how to best train your dog. She has a very humanistic approach to dog training which I appreciate. My dog, Buffy, has loved the class.

Really enjoyed taking Laura's beginner puppy class. We learned lots of great techniques and gained insight into our dog's behavior. Loved seeing our pup's progress throughout the course. Looking forward to taking another down the road!
My dog and I have a lot of fun in this class. It is the highlight of my dog’s week. Laura has an amazing understanding of how dogs think and helps owners understand why dogs react a certain way as well as how to best handle it. Highly recommend.

And I am currently in her Canine Good Citizenship class and planning to take other classes in the future.
Last January we added a 3 month old poodle pup to our home and fell in love instantly. He knew it! Last January we added a 3 month old poodle pup to our home and fell in love instantly. He knew it! We soon realized if we didn't get some help training him he would take over our lives in a way we didn't want. Later Laura told us she envisioned a score like this: Huxley 18, Pam and Joe 2. He was in charge for sure. After 3 different classes and graduation from the Canine Good Citizen class we have an awesome, well behaved dog who we can take anywhere. Recently we have begun to let him off leash to walk with us. He loves it and so do we. I credit Laura with training us humans so well! The time we devoted to this was worth every minute!
