Canine Learning Centers

Laura and team are amazing. We started bringing our dog as a puppy as soon as he finished his vaccinations. Our dog started in puppy kindergarten and it was such a joyful experience socializing him with dogs from outside his litter, in a safe and controlled environment. I believe that early-in-life experience is why our dog is so good around other dogs. After that we enrolled in puppy learn and play, obedience 1 & 2, Canine Good Citizen and are now in the agility classes. The classes are mentally stimulating for the dogs, have great results, and also taught us how to be good owners and how to positively reinforce the skills and behaviors learned in class. We highly recommend Canine Learning Centers!

I started coming here because I felt my dog needed less daycare (where he's picked up some bad behaviors) and more structure. I felt I could use some brushing up as well. My husband and I moved here from LA 10 months ago where we had access to amazing dog daycare and trainers. We have yet to find a good daycare but Laura is a great trainer. She has managed to teach me and my dog some new things and correct others. She's very patient and knowledgeable. She is organized with homework that includes reading and instructional videos. We're hoping to work our way to her off leash course so my dog can get better at agility.

I have attended a number of different training schools over the years. I recently attended Canine Good Citizen class at Canine Learning Center. Not only was the class informative, it was fun! Laura Christensen is very insightful and I learned nuances that I had not been exposed to before. I enjoyed the indoor environment and am excited about variety of classes offered. Laura/ K9 learning center is a wonderful teacher for dogs & humans! We found Laura over 12 years ago when we had a male Rhodesian Ridgeback that was jumping and difficult to control. Laura only need to spend a few minutes with him, and had him calmed down. She gave us great suggestions on many things that we needed to do to help him be a better dog. We followed her guidelines and we ended up with a wonderful, good dog. Fast forward 12 years, and this time as soon as we got our new puppy we contacted Laura. We have completed puppy kindergarten, beginning obedience, puppy learn and play and K9Good Citizen. Laura has provided us with so many tips to have a good, in control puppy/dog ~ we are so appreciative that we have a positive trainer and that our dog is having a positive experience

I enrolled my English Bulldog Tyson (1 1/2 years old) in the Canine Good Citizen class to help with controlling his excitability around other dogs/people. I was unable to get him to focus around distractions. He was unable to preform lose leash walking. Tyson has transformed from uncontrollable behavior to a well mannered boy. Laura's class has helped tremendously. I feel like he can now set an example of good calm behavior. I am so thankful for Laura's kills, knowledge and expertise. She is an absolute amazing trainer. Thank you, thank you thank you Laura. I HIGHLY recommend Laura as a trainer.
