My dog Kobe and I recently went through the Canine Good Citizen training course and it was a very refreshing experience. Laura was very relaxed and patient with both the dogs and their owners. The course was well laid out and all of the participants knew what to expect, even providing us with videos which outlined the course requirements for a passing grade. Kobe made it through the course successfully and Kim & I are blessed to have a more relaxed and well trained dog. I would highly recommend her training courses!

Laura was so kind and knowledgeable during our private lesson. I loved all of the confidence building exercises she did with my 2 year old dog, he really had fun during the session as well! I look forward to joining the group sessions soon, highly recommend!

My Wheaten Terrier and I have taken several classes at the Canine Learning Center in Carlsbad. Laura Christensen is extremely knowledgeable in dog behavior and training. I particularly appreciate that the class sizes allow appropriate attention to and understanding of each dog and owner such that each session is successful in meeting class objectives. Working with Laura has helped me improve the connection between me and my dog. I have a better understanding of my dog’s behavioral queues and how we can work together to reach our behavioral goals.

We have used other trainers for other dogs but none have done as good a job as Laura. Our 6 month old Labradoodle is now just what we wanted.
